So, the two little friends sat quietly by the garden gate watching down
the path through the field. They waited and waited and watched and watched for hours.
Just when Little Muslin Bunny and Baby Mouse grew bored of waiting they saw something moving
up the path through the field. The two friends bounced excitedly up and down trying to see what it was. It was
Baby Deer.
"I have been waiting for you all morning. What are you two doing sitting by the garden gate?"
asked Baby Deer.
"Mother Bunny said something very special is going to come today. I want to be the very
first one to see what it is," replied Little Muslin Bunny.
"Oh, how exciting! May I help watch, too?" asked Baby Deer.
"OK. We can play 'I Spy' while we wait," said Little Muslin Bunny.
So, the three little friends sat by the garden gate quietly playing 'I Spy' and watching down the
path through the field. They waited and waited and watched and watched for hours.

they saw something moving up the path through the field. The three friends bounced excitedly up and down trying to see
what it was. It was Morgan, the little girl.
